Hot Cross Buns
These gorgeous spiced buns are a traditional Easter teatime treat.
Now you can enjoy a vegan & gluten-free version too!
Do not be put off by the long ingredients list. These buns are simple to make!
Mix ingredients by hand or in the food processor.
This GF / VG dough is very quick to mix!
Shape the dough and leave to rise.
Using a muffin tin helps the gluten-free dough to rise up rather than spread out.
After rising, pipe crosses on top.
Traditional flour & water based crosses not icing!
Bake for 15-18 mins. then cool on a wire rack.
Serve sliced in half, toasted and slathered with vegan butter!
