500gfrozen edamame beans in the pod, (1 pack of 500g)
1tablespoonolive oil , (or any neutral, unflavoured oil)
1tablespoonsesame seeds
½teaspoongarlic powder
¼teaspoonflaked salt
Instructions
Weigh the frozen edamame beans into a bowl and add the rest of the ingredients. Stir together well.
500 g frozen edamame beans in the pod, 1 tablespoon olive oil , 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ¼ teaspoon flaked salt
Set air fryer to 200°C / 400°F and add the dressed edamame beans into the air fryer basket. Shake to level out. Set to air fry for 10 minutes at 200°C / 400°F, giving the air fryer basket a shake half way through the cooking time.
Serve immediately in a big bowl.
Notes
Note all air fryers are not the same so you may find you need to adjust the cooking time by a minute or so for your particular air fryer. Likewise, adjust the amount of beans for the size of your air fryer so that it is not overloaded.
You can adapt the seasoning to however you like it. Other options would be to add chilli flakes or spices to the mixture before air frying or drizzle on some toasted sesame oil or chilli oil, or a squeeze of lemon juice just before serving.
Don’t forget to serve it with a separate empty bowl for putting the empty pods into it after eating!
